will look after redevelopment.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make
comparisons where relevant.

The maps show the current layout of a university sport centre and the proposed
plan for its redevelopment.
Overall, the university sports centre will witness a noticeable change with the
addition of the entertainment facilities.
Focusing first on the design of university sports centre now, there are three
seperated sites, including two outdoor courts that lie in each side of main building.
In the mainbuilding, a reception is located in front of a pool which has a length of
25m. On the three remaining sides of the pool, there are a seating area, a gym and a
changing room.
Turning to the proposed plan, three buidings connceted to one another to create
more spaces. The reception is going to remain in the center of the buiding with a
25m pool lying behind. The seating area, changing room and gym are still going to
be located around the pool. It is evident that the gym will be extended and be
linked to two dance studios. To the right of the entrance, a café and a changing
room will be added. In the left coner, there will be a sports shop and an another
changing room leading to a leisure pool.
Ví dụ 2: The diagram below shows the development of a particular area between
1965 and the present day.

The maps illustrate the transformation of a pariticular area from 1965 until now.
Overall, this area has witnessed a noticeable change with the addition of residential
houses and transport facilities.
In the past, the ferry that was constructed to connect the the road on the left side of
river to Assford, has been replaced by two bridges. In the southern part of area,
from a disused zone, there have been several residential houses along the road
bridge. In addition, a car park is built in front of the foot bridge.
In the northern part of area, more residential houses built in both sides of the road
leading to a car park. What's more? Three apartments are built nearby to
accommodate more residents. In the left side of the river, it used to be a green
space with several trees in 1965, but now, it is replaced by another car park which
is erected to meet the travel needs of residents.
The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some
tourist facilities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and
make comparisons where relevant.

The maps illustrate the transformation of an island before and after the
construction of several facilities.

residential houses and transport facilities.
Focusing first on the first map, the island was been left undeveloped and retained
its original natural landscape with a few plants which were grown mainly in the
eastern part of island. Moreover, there was a beach in left side of the island.
Turning to the second map, there has been a reception in the centre with a vehicle
track leading to a restaurant and a pier. Besides, several residential houses are
added to the western and eatern part of island, forming two circular zones. A
footpath is erected to connect accommodation units and gives access to the beach
used for swimming activities. In addition, a few plants remain unchanged to create
green spaces for the island.
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site
today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features,
and make comparisons where relevant.
The maps illustrate the transformation of a farm called Beechwood from 1950 until
now.
Overall, there was a noticeable change in the layout of the farm, from an
agricultural site to the place which has developed tourism and entertainment
facilities.
Focusing first on the farm in 1950, the farm was surrounded by rivers, which
provided water sources for irrigation purposes. A cultivated zone was separated
into three parts to grow three different types of plants: fruit trees, soft fruits and
vegetables. In the eastern corner of farm, there were three places located near each
other: a barn, a farmhouse and a place to raise chickens. Moreover, a small road
branched off from the main road and separated sheep farm from the rest of the site.
Turning to current farm, the green zone has remained unchanged, however, a farm
shop has been added to the site for fruit trees. Holiday cottages are constructed in
the place of barn whereas another barn is built and connects to the road. There are
up to two parking zones across the road to meet the transport needs (accommodate
more visitors). The sheep farm has been converted into a camping field to develop
tourism and fitted with solar panels, which generate energy for the farm's facilities.

The maps illustrate the transformation of a museum and its surrounding from 1990
to 2010.
Overall, there was a noticeable change in the layout of the museum and its outer
space with the addition of entertainment and transport facilities.
Focusing first on the design of this site in 1990, in the museum, a store room was
located near the entrance, with a tiny shop and several exhibition rooms
surrounding it. A cottage was situated inside the museum and along the main road.
Opposite the museum, there was a public site, seperated into two different zones: a
car park and a garden. In addition, another garden was located in the northern side
of the museum.
Turning to the map in 2010, inside the museum, a store room remained unchanged,
however, two seperated exhibition rooms were turned into (combined into) a larger
room. One exhibiton room was demolished, which allowed the shop to be
enlarged. In the southern part of museum, a café was built to replace the cottage.
Opposite the museum, a garden was replaced with another car park, therefore,
there were up to two car parks whereas only one garden situated next to the
museum was preserved as it had been.
